SL/RL DATING...HORROR STORY...DISCUSSED WITH GIRL97 ACKMANN...
Girl97 Ackmann: what are you up to today?
Marcophoto Upshaw: Yesterday I had a bit of difficulty with an old friend....had not seen her in over a year, she suddenly popped up, and was suicidal last night...I was up much of the night talking to her.
Girl97 Ackmann: wow
Girl97 Ackmann: did she calm down?
Girl97 Ackmann: were you on voice?
Marcophoto Upshaw: typing....and yeah she did, but she really scared me. I managed to google her address, and was a hair away from calling the cops to her home.
Girl97 Ackmann: oh...what was she saying?
Marcophoto Upshaw: the story in a nutshell...she met a guy in sl....it went to rl...she gave up her professional job in the USA to move in with him in England. He beat her, hospitalized her...threw her down the stairs. Then he told her to "get the fuck out" because he had found someone else!! She came back to the US, moved in with her elderly parents....is now totally disabled with depression.

Xandra Delight: Have you been designing silks for a long time ?
Talkin Back: well, actually, I started doing them about a year ago, then stopped
Talkin Back: I just started up with these styles a couple weeks ago
Talkin Back: so I'm still working on them and adding
Talkin Back: I have the resizer scripts in them now so it's alot easier to wear and adjust them
Xandra Delight: they're really nicely done. *smiles*
Talkin Back: not like the old days

Talkin Back: yes, they are great
Talkin Back: and with all the prim pieces, really a must with these things

Talkin Back: it's hard for newer people to do the adjustments without them
Xandra Delight: that's true, so easy to screw something up when you aren't used to it
Talkin Back: I so remember things like my first hair that I could never get to fit right LOL

Talkin Back: I remember having to ask girls where they got their hair then getting there only to find I didn't know how to put it on
