Funny Second Life Names #3: for St. Pat's Day

Hello my Second Life ® friends. Once more it is time to delve into the crazy world of SL names.

But first, let me wish you a Happy St. Pat's day. Believe it or not I actually discovered a Second Life ® name related to this holiday:

Green Shamrock

Sooooo "Top 'O the Mornin' " to ya Green my boy...or, uhmmm...girl....or furry, or leprechaun or whatever ye may be!

Now in commenting on these names, let me point out a few things. First, I want to thank all "namees" for being good sports. MOST of them are subscribers to this humor blog. Every day I look over the names of those who subscribed the day before. The ones I find to be
funny or weird or cute or interesting I save to special folders.

Currently I have 51 separate FOLDERS of names...ranging from
"Animals" ...allll the way down the alphabet to "Weird" and ...with many stops in between.

Second, please don't scream and yell at me for making fun of your name. If you had not wanted attention in the first place, you would not have chosen it. Right? Right. You made your bed so bark in it. Or eat in it. Or sleep in it or what ever. Point is, WE chose our crazy names and we can't blame people for laughing at them, now can we?

And again, let me make fun of my own name first. Marcophoto...WHO in their right name would pick a weird name like THAT? Well I used to be a semi-pro photographer in RL, and it was a nice play on words... Marco-polo....Marco-photo. Nice. I am also a proud member of the inworld SL group called "We Have F***** UP Names, founded by Canyouhearme Snoring. Snoring will be contacting some of you avies named below to give you an official invitation to join the illustrious roll of the F***** Up. AND if you contact them today, I believe they may still be giving away a free St. Paddy's Day T-Shirt.

So which file will we start with today? How about the one I mentioned above? In the "Animal" folder we have...

Cheeky Frog......hmmmm interesting, I wonder what a Cheeky Frog looks like? Does it have pendulous green masses hanging off either side of its face? Or is this a nasty little greenie who ribbits out naughty sayings? Hmmmm, I saw a funny story on another website about a Bull Frog that gave the best blowjobs in the world...if you are interested ask me about that and I'll give you the link. Funny as hell!

cliffthebigreddog Wycliffe.....awww cute. I suppose cliff is a big cuddly sort. Or maybe he just wants the ladies to think so.

Dog Story...welllll, ok Dog. Interesting I guess. I love dogs, though I don't know if I would love YOU. Maybe if you are a female dog. lol.

Uglyhairy Camel.....hehe, I love names like this....I have a whole 'nuther category for names like this...where the first name goes perfectly with the last name. They show some quick wit on the part of the person choosing their name. I call them Perfect Statement names....or Clever Play names...like this one:

BIGRED Gorilla....I actually met BIGRED, and she is actually a very HAWT female stripper, lol.

A sub-file in my Animals folder are the Bird names...

Birdy Boucher.....

Black Dove.....

Blue Bird.....I wonder if she/he is the Blue Bird of happiness...and if so, why so blue? Perhaps I have Blue Bird misclassified....should that one be in the Attitude folder?

Biggrouch Quinnell.......grrr, don't you dare go grouching off at me bud! Aww, he is probably a big ole teddy bear.

rudebltch Baxton.....she must be Biggrouch's older sister. Maybe that is why he is so grouchy, what with her bitchin' on him all day long.

classychicchick GossipGirl.....oooo now that is a GOOD attitude...Classy, smooth, HAWT. Mmmmhmmm. We guys tend to LIKE classy chicks. I know I do, and my Jade is the classiest gal I know in sl.

Closely related to the Attitude Names folder is the Cheery Names folder, containing...

Sparkle Ling.....oooo this is another good example of a Clever Play name. I love this one! Good job Sparkle!

Twinklestar Little.....Clever! "Twinkle, twinkle, little Star!"

Of course, whenever we deal with happy cheery attitudes, we need to look at the dark, depressing names to balance it out, right? from the Crazy Insane folder we have...

"Shuddddders...." what creepy names. Death? Obits? Funerals? Though FUNeral Hellman seems to imply that he finds it a FUN subject, I tend to disagree. But what do I know? Ted Bundy and his ilk enjoyed it.
