NEW DRUG TREATS EXCESSIVE MARITAL HAPPINESS!!

by Marcophoto Upshaw
AKA: Mark E Lodge, USA

This drug must be a true boon to couples who are so totally and exquisitely in love. What a shame it is for them to be afflicted with that condition! But now, through the miracle of modern science, they can be depressed and angry at each other, just like normal married couples.

Of course, I speak tongue-in-cheek. Because in reality, it is silly for a couple to take a drug for this. We all know that all they have to do is to get married in Real Life and live together for an extended period of time. Her annoying, perky cheerfulness will soon stop!

Oh com'mon, don't you realize that almost EVERYONE in SL is married? And miserable? Why do you think so many people come to SL in the first place? It is not for the cartoony textures! It is for distraction from the Wonderful World of Wedded Bliss!

I am the exception, but then I WAS married...for years and years and years...and did I mention....years and years? Now I am divorced...and single. Hint, ladies, hint, hint, I am living in Chicago, and I am SINNNNNGGGGGLLLLEEEE.... *He sings out chirpily*)...well, in RL anyway. :-)

But I've noticed over the past many months I've been doing SL that the vast majority of SLers are UNhappily married people, in real life.

And what a boon for married people SL is!

* How else can you stay UNhappily married (for the sake of the kids) and yet get thrilling sex every night of the week?
*How else can you stay UNhappily married, and yet be a BDSM Queen or King?
*How else can you stay UNhappily married, and yet marry somebody else...legally?

WHERE else in this crazy world can two people be deeply OUT of love with each other, and yet within the the same household (different computers) have their OWN love partner to cavort with?

SL is soooo weird!

ONLY in SL can you get married, complete with flower girls, groomsmen, bridesmaids, and dozens of your best friends attending......and then MEET your spouse for the first time at a later date! (RL)

Thoughts for YOU to comment on today:

Do you try to match up single friends and do they like it?

What is it like to be "annoyingly happy??"

Where can I get some of that?

PLEASE, would you leave a comment? I read and answer all comments, usually within the hour. Of course I DO log off now and then, to sleep, eat, and take care of OTHER bodily functions; though sometimes I just do them at my desk. I'll leave you to figure out WHICH. I know you are shy, so just use "Anonymous" as your name...gowaaaannnn, you KNOW you wanna!

Hello Ave, thanks so much for your comments, lol, I really wish for everyone to be happy in SL AND RL.

Yes, if folks are so happy in RL, why do they have bfs and gfs and partners and wives in sl?
It IS a strange thing.
